Our friend Ken flew his plane from Colorado to visit this weekend! So fun, and we got to drink Pina Coladas..lots of them!
We went to Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Wow! The caves are HUGE! It’s like being in an underground cathedral. We had to walk down into the cave; the elevator was out of order. It was 1.25 miles to get down to where the tour started. We were all pretty happy the elevator was broken because the hike was fantastic and we would have never seen as much as we did. We took the King’s Palace tour which was very cool. The hike out was when we wished there was an elevator, but in the end, it wasn’t so bad. Liam and Quinn also got their Jr. Ranger Badges.
