October 7-11, 2015
We were definitely ready for some warmer weather and we found it! Just outside Lake Havasu, Arizona, on the Parker Strip. We found a place called The Pirate’s Den. The boys got a kick out of it, it’s a pirate themed RV resort right on the river. We had a beachfront RV spot, heaven! It felt like we were in the Florida Keys. We spent a lot of time floating and swimming. The boys got snorkels and were really getting the hang of using them. There are 2 restaurants just in case you don’t feel like cooking. Yes, that did happen a few times.
We did go into Havasu City to see the London Bridge. It’s so crazy that it is here, in AZ. We talked to the boys about the history that that bridge had seen. That’s the kind of thing we all really like to think about. What happened on that bridge? Who walked over that bridge? What battles did that bridge see?
The last full day we were there we got to be friendly with our neighbors. They took us out on their boat for a little bit. Our boys and their boys played till it was dark and all morning the next day. We saw a hot boat go about 150 mph down the river. It was kind of like watching an F-14 fly by, loud and awesome! Life is good!
We’re off to Palm Springs to be still for a while. We’ll be there for almost 2 weeks.
Looks like you’re having fun. Are you guys going to publish a picture of your planned itinerary? Are you going north south east west next? A swing into Seattle soon?

I heard my brothers friend wrote him and said that there was a real fire at school. Was there a real fire? Tell the class that I miss them and do your best. We will be in Disney Land this weekend! I am working hard at school but my math is on the computer and its kinda weird to me. I am used to using a book for math and not a computer.
